So that sucked. But the service has been fine, the installation is free. I have internet and phone and it’s all pretty good although there’s a bit of a hum on the phone line sometimes. I was surprised to find that all the Comcast sports channels are available on it, which would have been the main reason to stay with Comcast.
You can choose how many things to bundle. This is the first area I’ve lived in a while where there was a choice of cable providers, so I thought why not try something other than Comcast…..
I kind of want to watch it, because it’s filmed in SF, and I was working in the city last spring when they closed some roads to film the pilot… but if it’s that bad, I don’t want to waste my time. (Because it’s not like I waste my time doing things like posting in game threads every day.)
Powell makes me happy. Now # of hits = # of errors.
As for the lethal cricket — well, I haven’t really been in my kitchen today — had lunch at work and went out for dinner. Hopefully by the time I find it, it will be dead. No less gross, but much easier to dispose of.

The Phillies are in trouble in the playoffs if they can’t rely on their bullpen….Playoff games are usually close and you really need to have a bullpen that can close it out. Tyler Walker looked terrible on Monday night and they can’t depend on Lidge at this point. I was just a casual observer at the game with no real interest in the winer or loser so it was cool to be a part of the celebration though…
But yeah, good stuff man. I was there in 2000 for the clinching game in the days of Izzy, Hudson et al and it was like nothing else. I’m hoping I will get to go to an A’s WS sometime in the next 10 years

I kind of want to watch it, because it’s filmed in SF, and I was working in the city last spring when they closed some roads to film the pilot… but if it’s that bad, I don’t want to waste my time. (Because it’s not like I waste my time doing things like posting in game threads every day.)

but it had two helicopter crashes, a pileup on the motorway, an exploding oil tanker and a missing finger.

Yeah...LOL..it was a great atmosphere here...I will write about it and post pics when I get home to the Bay Area tommorow...
The Phillies are in trouble in the playoffs if they can’t rely on their bullpen….Playoff games are usually close and you really need to have a bullpen that can close it out. Tyler Walker looked terrible on Monday night and they can’t depend on Lidge at this point. I was just a casual observer at the game with no real interest in the winer or loser so it was cool to be a part of the celebration though…
