Yesterday after work I stopped by Walmart, hoping to buy a G.I. Joe, so that I could position his limbs in the shape of a letter K, and take a picture of it to use for recording Gio’s strikeouts.
I couldn’t find a decent G.I. Joe. Or at least not one that actually looked like Joe. There were a lot of weird things with the G.I. Joe brand name, but no Joe like I remember him.
Turns out it didn’t matter. I don’t think Gio got any strikeouts anyway. Or if he did, they were so outnumbered by hits that it would have been ridiculous to notice them.
I remember lying there in the gutter, all bleeding and shaking, staring at my leg, next to the beer can, and I remember thinking: that’s my leg. I wonder if there’s any beer in that can? I also thought: Maybe they can sew it back on, but then the ambulance came, ran right over it.
I can say that if this were really AN after dark, we’d have seperate threads on poker, another one advertising extenze, and another saying how easy it is to refinance our homes with no money down.

True Story
Yesterday after work I stopped by Walmart, hoping to buy a G.I. Joe, so that I could position his limbs in the shape of a letter K, and take a picture of it to use for recording Gio’s strikeouts.
I couldn’t find a decent G.I. Joe. Or at least not one that actually looked like Joe. There were a lot of weird things with the G.I. Joe brand name, but no Joe like I remember him.
Turns out it didn’t matter. I don’t think Gio got any strikeouts anyway. Or if he did, they were so outnumbered by hits that it would have been ridiculous to notice them.
