Sloppy defense? Check.
Bad offense? Check.
Breaks not going our way? Check.
Typical A's game so far? Check.
Dallas Braden fails to avoid the big inning this time. Halfway through and the A's are in big danger of losing their first home game to the Rockies in over a decade, down 4-0.

I’m having a hard time.

Okay.
This game is pathetic and sad. Friday threads are supposed to be fun and all that.
So…

a dead dog isn't going to make us feel better!
but it was good up until that.
stormtown - June 26, 2009
I dunno.
The whole thing was so pathetic, I thought it was funny. And I love dogs.
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
This isn't funny! Who was that bastard that killed my dog?!?!?
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
oh I don't really even think he had a dog
stormtown - June 26, 2009
Especially in a nice shabu shabu!

I don't know why I torture myself with this.
It’s 4:30am and I’m bored rigid, again. Terrible, terrible baseball team.
OldhamA - June 26, 2009
It would be even more tortuour to watch them there.
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
Perhaps.
OldhamA - June 26, 2009
wow
Have you stayed up or gotten up early?
paradox - June 26, 2009
I was asleep for most of today - got my results yesterday and
went out to celebrate. I’ve got work in half an hour, so to answer your question: got up early.
OldhamA - June 26, 2009
Isn't it a fireworks game??
BERRYJO - June 26, 2009
Wait,
isn’t 67M there again tonight?
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
Honestly, I don't think any single aspect of the A's has disappointed me more
than the seeming acceptance, from its leaders, of continued sloppy play and mental lapses. “Oh well, tomorrow’s another day.” I want to dress Bob Geren up in a Mary Poppins dress and shoot him. ka-BAM, ka-BAM!!
Nico - June 26, 2009
And no, I don't mean it literally, violence is bad, blah blah blah
Nico - June 26, 2009
but cross-dressing is a hoot!
stormtown - June 26, 2009
WOW!!!
Nico, you go on summer vaca and get all violent or sumpin’. LOL

it’s another to suck, not hustle, make errors and boneheaded plays and act like everything is swell.
Deborah51 - June 26, 2009
Yes, that's what I was trying to say
I just put it in a “violently assault someone” kind of way.
Nico - June 26, 2009
A violent assault an icon kind of way.
Shame on you.

The AL is beating the NL in IL Play in spite of
our team which will be 5-11 and Cleveland which is 5-10
They even said on MLB Tonight that going from the AL to the NL is like going to AAA. And that was Barry Larkin and Sean Casey etc. They should know what they are talking about
Trainman - June 26, 2009
And Geren adheres way too rigidly to the 100 pitch thing.
…not that it matters in this particular game.
GreenNGoldSooner - June 26, 2009
lame of him to even bother to pull Braden in this spot
jdub69 - June 26, 2009
100 pitches braden
57 pitches other guy.

Fuck you no good MF’ers
Good on Ya KK, He says
“People pay money to come to the ballpark. This is unacceptable”
Fire that bastard now and make the team take fielding practice until 4 in the morning
Trainman - June 26, 2009
I liked that line too...
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
i'd like to hear BB or geren saying it was unacceptable
they must be too busy sitting around with their thumbs up their asses
was that too vulgar??
Deborah51 - June 26, 2009

Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
Cust is still a disaster in the outfield
He’s gone from “shouldn’t even be out there” to “mediocre” but that still isn’t very good.
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
Cust should never be allowed in outfield again
This is supposed to be a professional baseball team.
Trainman - June 26, 2009
Meanwhile, Buck's in Triple-A

Yeah, but he didn't participate in the mandatory

He’s gone from “mediocre at best” to “shouldn’t even be out there”.
jdub69 - June 26, 2009

But Alas, I am not that powerful.

I’m checking Mapquest now to see if I’m remembering correctly. That was about 20 years ago.
iglew - June 26, 2009
Mapquest says 1.01 miles.
so I guess maybe more than 5 minutes. But I did walk it. I didn’t have a car then.

I know D-Bart hasn't set the world on fire
But I like him. I don’t know why, yo. But I do.

Joey C. - June 26, 2009
This game reminds me of the sort of game the Warriors often played a few years ago
Uninspired, sloppy, bad.
Someone I know was at one of those games and there just happened to be a very quiet moment when he got up and yelled, “You guys suck! I’m going home!” and pretty much everyone there heard it.
I’d like to hear something like that at this game.
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
But look at them Warriors now
Stephen Curry, and perhaps a shiny new Amare Stoudamire.
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
Hannahan now hitting .188
Just thought I would slip that in there
Go A’s
Trainman - June 26, 2009
soon it will be a number that is survivable without space suit
ak_A - June 26, 2009
He and Croz are battling for most offensive suckitude.
geogrman - June 26, 2009
LOL @ Geren
So he uses Ziegler for two outs in the 6th and he’s probably going to bring Breslow in to face Helton in the 7th when they might as well give Ziegler another inning anyway?
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
what a shock
jakebmill - June 26, 2009
Jesus Christ, Cust is still hitting in the 2 spot.
jdub69 - June 26, 2009
I was advocating that (The #2 spot)
but right now the 10 spot is the best place for him. On the bench with 6 other regulars.
Time for some AAA kids who will play with enthusiasm.
This team has been Gerenified
Trainman - June 26, 2009
Even though the former can gauge a changeup better.
Nico - June 26, 2009
Damn, 3Ks already for Cust?
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
Maybe the A's just love fireworks and really don't want to waste any time before getting to see them
Nick - June 26, 2009

A's rated most intelligent team in MLB?
Obviously based on off-field measurements!

That does not include management

they are literally costing him money with their sucking
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
He'd been costing himself some the past three weeks, too
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
Holliday should learn how many outs there are in an inning before complaining
Nico - June 26, 2009
No I think he can still complain
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
Well shit. If Matt Holliday can complain about the A's, I can most certainly complain about Matt Holliday.
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
Let's complain twice and say we thought it was three times!
Nico - June 26, 2009
And then throw our helmet on the ground with disgust!

And like .222 for the month.
Trainman - June 26, 2009

A’s have the 1st, 8th, and 15th lowest batting averages in the AL.
And that’s not counting Crosby or Hannahan.
iglew - June 26, 2009
Barton coming on strong
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
There has never been anyone worse ..........
…… but can anyone think of another player (a regular) on any MLB team, anytime, that is/has been as bad as Cust? What the hell is Beane thinking, putting out a product like this. How can you ask people to pay money to watch crap like this? A total disgrace.
If the Guantanamo inmates were forced to watch the A’s, the human rights crowd really would have a valid torture claim.
Smoky - June 26, 2009
To be fair
We are still way better than the nationals
Although I’d definitely rather watch that product. At least for them losing = hunter bryce
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
Absolutely
Cust hits homers and walks a fair amount. That stuff is useful. Neifi Perez was a much worse player.
Nick - June 26, 2009
the second half of that is pretty offensive
bobnothing - June 26, 2009

Great game, huh? But just think, if we hadn’t given up 4 runs, we could be tied at 0-0. W00t!

walkoff baltimore chop - June 26, 2009
Wait, what does that mean?
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
He can run slowly around the bases
And then I think something happens with the scoreboard or something? It’s been a while so I’m kinda fuzzy on the details.
worldblee - June 26, 2009
Pfffft, big deal. I see our guys running slowly around the bases all the time.
Nico - June 26, 2009
o_O
home run?
whiteshoes40 - June 26, 2009
Well at least it's not a shut out.
And now that idiotic three-run inning comes back to haunt us.
GreenNGoldSooner - June 26, 2009
Shocking
Kurt still cares
Trainman - June 26, 2009
Chug!
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
nice going zooks
we’ll get u help someday
geogrman - June 26, 2009
Or
You’ll be on a better team someday.
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
+1
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
Whew. Kurt.
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
another hit!
jdub69 - June 26, 2009
no shutout tonight
i celebrate the little things
Deborah51 - June 26, 2009
I can haz run(z)?
iglew - June 26, 2009
Yes, but just one.
I don’t want it to spoil your dinner.
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
Giambi broke out the roids?
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
Well jeez, maybe I should've said something about Hammel sooner
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
oo_OO
double?!
whiteshoes40 - June 26, 2009
Nine game hitting streak for OCab, no?
Only forty seven more games to go!
GreenNGoldSooner - June 26, 2009
Back up to .235
Now two or three more hits and …………………………………
Trainman - June 26, 2009
Oh God, Nomar has a bat in the dugout
Nick - June 26, 2009
It's okay
They can’t turn a double play in this inning.
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
Better than a glove, methinks.
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
I laughed ...
when Vince said, “And remember, Nomar Garicaparra is looming in the dugout.”
Sorry. I love Nomar. But Nomar just does not loom any more.
el campysino - June 26, 2009
mayve if he were making a blanket.
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
Looming, you say?
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
I mostly liked that he was examining the bats very closely
“hm, which one of these is best for grounding out on the first pitch”
bobnothing - June 26, 2009
limping
ak_A - June 26, 2009
what I want to know is what is wrong with Barton?
Has anyone written on this?
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
He's poor at baseball.
There, I’ve written about it.
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
I dunno. He was heating up in Sacramento but he's not getting any real consistent time up here to get in a groove
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
he had consistent time all of last year and never got in a groove
jdub69 - June 26, 2009
If Sweeney and Barton somehow get on
No way Hannahan hits
Trainman - June 26, 2009
So much for that
Trainman - June 26, 2009
This isn't very nice.
They’re making me hope.
I know nothing good will come of this.
whiteshoes40 - June 26, 2009
Mistah Apodaca, Mr. Bob Apodaca
GreenNGoldSooner - June 26, 2009
DANCE iglew DANCE!!!!!!
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
I did! I did!
iglew - June 26, 2009
If you add Hannahan and Barton together...
you get a .251 hitter
Ta Da!
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
ouch
jdub69 - June 26, 2009
we're gonna see Street tonite!
geogrman - June 26, 2009
and he is going to lock the already barred and locked door
ak_A - June 26, 2009
only if we are lucky
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
That home run by Zook was so lifeless
Where’s the life?!?!
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
Casilla trying to get ERA under 6. woohoo
geogrman - June 26, 2009
i don't know what's happened with him
he’s been one of the biggest dissapointments for me, this year – he looked tremendous for the first couple of games, and then… well. i don’t think we need to discuss what occured next
bobnothing - June 26, 2009
if you recall last year
same thing happened before injury v after.
geogrman - June 26, 2009
right, be he's been poor from very early on, this time around, no?
he clearly has immense talent. oh well.
bobnothing - June 26, 2009
Casilla overthrows a lot in high pressure situations
His mental makeup is not good enough for closer, or even setup status yet.
geogrman - June 26, 2009
He got hurt and went on the DL
It’s possible that it’s taken him a while to feel healthy again.
Nick - June 26, 2009
Luckily we had Springer to pick up the slack!
GreenNGoldSooner - June 26, 2009
Bad dog.
Nico - June 26, 2009
IF Barton and Hannahan both get on base we will win
IF not, we will lose. I think that means we have 1% chance of winning!
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
ugh damn you Nomar
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
that just dropped to .5%
geogrman - June 26, 2009
It's OK to PH for Barton
But not for Hannahan
Trainman - June 26, 2009
at least nomar is predictable
Deborah51 - June 26, 2009
So is that what looming looks like?
Not very impressive, really.
GreenNGoldSooner - June 26, 2009
More offense, please
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
i got some late late salmon grillin to do
as i smell the aroma of the smoking alder chips
ak_A - June 26, 2009
yum
Deborah51 - June 26, 2009
So what was the point of pinch-hitting Nomar there?
Trying to make Hammels throw fewer pitches?
whiteshoes40 - June 26, 2009
maybe it was meant to wring every last bit of hope out of us
Deborah51 - June 26, 2009
It worked!!!
Nico - June 26, 2009
I think all the looming was bothering Nomar's calf.
Nico - June 26, 2009
Yeah. Pinch hit for Barton but not for Hannahan
That makes perfect sense.
Nico - June 26, 2009
It's so crazy that it might work!
In an alternate world or in a movie where a friendly screenwriter could write the script to make events fall our way.
worldblee - June 26, 2009
okay.
How about this one?

Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
Ziggy next to Ms Chuckie?
geogrman - June 26, 2009
DONT SWING JACK
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
He heard you!
el campysino - June 26, 2009

Time for some rum
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009

Deborah51 - June 26, 2009
hello again
did you ever try that hot buttered rum popcorn I suggested? ;-)
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
not yet
Deborah51 - June 26, 2009
Bailey up???
Is Geren insane??
geogrman - June 26, 2009
Yes. Did you have other questions, or just the one?
Nico - June 26, 2009
Hammel has to be done
allowing Hannahan to get on base
Trainman - June 26, 2009
Bailey. Warming. Up.
Sigh.
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
WHYYYYYY
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
I dont think Geren plans to win tomorrow
that is my guess
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
Because our manager is a moron
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
Daily Bailey
Because, y’know, Geren fails at this managing thing.
walkoff baltimore chop - June 26, 2009
we should have two game threads from now on
Sober thread and drunk thread
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
but which will be more fun?
geogrman - June 26, 2009
No contest.
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
Are you serious?
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
Why in the world would you want that?
I like the drunk thread idea, though.
Nico - June 26, 2009
dont want to trouble sober people with my miserable ranting?
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
I thought it was the sober people throwing the bitch fit
I’m nicely toasted and rather enjoying this game.
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
as someone who's always sober,
I must say I rather enjoy drunken companions.
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
It's a matter of degree, old chap
My friends at 7 beers? Great. At 17? Ehhhhhhhhhh.
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
Yeah, well,
that acutely esplains my sobriety. I was a 17…
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
I think we at 17 would be a riot
Legally speaking.
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
I was riotous unto myself.
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
Geren...
LEAVE BAILEY ALONE!!!!
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
hahaha
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
+100
geogrman - June 26, 2009
New solution for getting rid of Geren
Rajai has to tell the world that Bob touched him in a naughty place.
worldblee - June 26, 2009
Where do we send him money
Trainman - June 26, 2009
it would explain what he's still doing in on a major league roster....
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
if only that was the only playing time rajai got
sorry too easy
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
It's OK, Rajai
Show us on the Stomper doll where Geren touched you.
worldblee - June 26, 2009
HAHA
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
Um...Raj, you don't have a trunk.

I'm yelling at the TV now.
This game sucks.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
ElQuesoCapitan - June 26, 2009
That one makes me laugh every single time
worldblee - June 26, 2009
we've actually done that
when we play softball. Right center pretends to throw the ball to 3rd but spikes the grass, man on first runs to second, thinking ball is going to 3rd, but the shortstop picks up the ball and throws out the runner on second….
…..but we’re mostly drunk
BigTuna - June 26, 2009
... Mostly
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
I love you.
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
Oh, Christ I'm so glad someone else thought that was funny
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
The tying run is actually at the plate!
jdub69 - June 26, 2009
But Holliday thinks there are three outs and won't come to the plate!
Nico - June 26, 2009
saved by the pitching change
jdub69 - June 26, 2009
Man it sure would be sweet for holliday to give the new pitcher a good oakland welcome
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
You mean strike out?
DMOAS - June 26, 2009
and the subsequent pulled hammy

geogrman - June 26, 2009

But we got plenty of ‘tweener outfielders. I’ll take the shot at glory. ‘Course, I’m biased. One of my fondest A’s memories is that sweep against the Twins.
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
I was happy too but then got rid of Bradley.
Not a long enough return.

cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
ass
Deborah51 - June 26, 2009
Dad?
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
OK, now that's just wrong.
walkoff baltimore chop - June 26, 2009
DAMNIT
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
Huston Street, you're breaking my heart.
…this is so strange.
whiteshoes40 - June 26, 2009
It very much is.
walkoff baltimore chop - June 26, 2009
Let's go Ryan!
Make it interesting.
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
the sad thing is that Sweeney thinks he did
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
okay bobby, do your thing
ak_A - June 26, 2009
like that?
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
Swing and pathetically miss sliders on the outside corner?
GreenNGoldSooner - June 26, 2009
well
that out was INTERESTING
but not effective
geogrman - June 26, 2009
Hey. Ryan.
No one said you could hurt Huston, even though he’s on the other team.
whiteshoes40 - June 26, 2009
Crosby.
Good night.
brian.only - June 26, 2009
Predictable
Flashfire - June 26, 2009
10 Games Under
Please God, let there be a tirade with violence in the clubhouse
Trainman - June 26, 2009
i wanna see a chair explode on the clubhouse wall
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
I want Beane to throw some chairs around.
walkoff baltimore chop - June 26, 2009
Violence with furniture only
No injuries just damaged furniture
Trainman - June 26, 2009
Geren could injured a little bit
No broken bones. Maybe a bruise or two though. I could deal with that.
worldblee - June 26, 2009
quickly 0 and 2 and then quickly OH slider, whiff!
ak_A - June 26, 2009
Classic Croz -boner
geogrman - June 26, 2009
Tee hee.
That was humorous.
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
Talk about a nightmare matchup
Sliders to Bones. Sheesh.
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
Never could have predicted he'd strike out on a slider
Never.
worldblee - June 26, 2009
woof.
Leopold Bloom - June 26, 2009
haha Huston clearly knows Croz
ChadGod - June 26, 2009
Predictable.
whiteshoes40 - June 26, 2009
KK said it best
“A very disappointing performance tonight by the A’s”
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
Ken was awesome tonight
Totally professional but incredibly honest.
Nico - June 26, 2009
for better or for worse, this is why I like him
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
pathetic
Deborah51 - June 26, 2009
This was such a lackluster showing.
Is management watching? And do they care?
geogrman - June 26, 2009
Apparently no, and no.
Nico - June 26, 2009
Do you sort of feel like Oakland Managment
Is similar to Carnival’
s?
brian.only - June 26, 2009
BoCro is there already

brian.only - June 26, 2009
Is that from Moneyball the movie?
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
No they do not care
If they gave a flying F, things would already have changed
Trainman - June 26, 2009
Lew Wolff is the devil. Sell the team PLEASE.
jdub69 - June 26, 2009
To think I almost bought a ticket for this game...
Pls guys stop the suck-fest.
brian.only - June 26, 2009
The home of A's baseball
is ESPN Classic, not Comcast.
worldblee - June 26, 2009
Ha!
el campysino - June 26, 2009
"Crosby doing whatever he can to get on base"
Except take a pitch.
C’est la vie. Same Bat-time, same Bat-channel tomorrow, y’all.
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
I'm sure it was already said today
Milton Bradley pulled by Pinella, ordered out of his uniform, for smashing the water cooler.
Andre Eithier hits three home runs, 14 for the season now.
One won lost won - June 26, 2009
As for Oakland, now over 70 games
and not so much as a brushback pitch. Ladies and gentlemen, your polite and indifferent 2009 Oakland A’s.
Nico - June 26, 2009
Bob Geren is a good man
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
the best
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
The best man
Coach Cleats - June 26, 2009
Um, yeah.
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
years ago I had a supervisor who
looked just like the father in the Family Circus. His management approach to any even mild conflict, basically disagreements that alarmed him “now just be nice”
ak_A - June 26, 2009
Unfortunately being nice never works in the long-term
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
starts with the manager in the dugout
grooming guys for the call to the Big Show…“keep a positive mental attitude…accent the positive..”
This is the pinnacle of the sport. Let’s get some swagger (oh, he plays for NYY now).
One won lost won - June 26, 2009
unfortunately
i don’t know if swisher would make a difference right now
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
There would be some mirth at least.
brian.only - June 26, 2009
Perhaps our boys need a ride in the Mirthmobile
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
Shitty Beatles. Are they any good?
They SUCK!
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
So it's not just a clever name
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
I think he would
There is no fire in the damn dugout.
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
we are currently lacking in talent everywhere but the pitcher's mound and catcher's circle
fire is not the problem
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
we are lacking talent
and fire
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
Sorry to everyone that watched the entire game
Two innings was painful enough for me.
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
If you manage your expectations, it's not so bad
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
also, drinking helps.
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
Ding!
You are correct, mademoiselle.
Joey C. - June 26, 2009
How Appropriate
I am playing Yahoo Pyramids and the security word when I sign on is BARF
Trainman - June 26, 2009
I still like Huston
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
since he changed his position on the rubber
and his arm slot thusly got fixed, he’s been lights out.
One won lost won - June 26, 2009
Why couldn't he have figured
that out last season?
walkoff baltimore chop - June 26, 2009
because he was hurt?
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
rhetorical??
He didn’t do it on his own. It was in concert with the coaching staff.
One won lost won - June 26, 2009
Slightly rhetorical.
Now, why haven’t the A’s fired the coaching staff yet? (This is rhetorical.)
walkoff baltimore chop - June 26, 2009
I think the A's have been putting out so many fires over the past few years-
due to injuries, I don’t even know how they would have had time. It felt like 08 most of the pen was on the DL every couple months.
brian.only - June 26, 2009
Fair point.
el campysino - June 26, 2009
Hmmmm...
I wonder if the guys will talk to Huston and ask him “how did you guys get rid of your manager?”
ohtobe21likehuston - June 26, 2009
You would think that the genius Geren could've pinch hit for Crosby with Powell in that last at bat?
jdub69 - June 26, 2009
not sure it would have mattered
Huston had the slider today
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
Righty vs. lefty matchup would've at least had a chance.
With Crosby up it was a foregone conclusion.
jdub69 - June 26, 2009
Well, Megan Fox will cheer me up tomorrow
Nothing like cars and a hot girl on a 50 ft tall screen
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
well, be warned that it is an atrocious movie
guy incognito - June 26, 2009
It doesn't sound
like “Citizen Kane” is exactly what cuppingmaster is going there for in the first place.
el campysino - June 26, 2009
thank you
atrocious but entertaining is what I expect.
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
i think entertaining may be stretching it
i thought the filming was terrible – the camera moves too quickly for the robot action sequences, so its hard as hell to even know what’s going on in those scenes.
guy incognito - June 26, 2009
God, I love Dallas Braden.
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
what did he say?
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
He rated his performance tonight
“poor to very poor” (which it wasn’t), said that his lack of run support doesn’t bother him because he sees it as a personal challenge to go out there and dominate for 9 innings every time he’s handed the ball, and he never let’s an opposing pitcher’s performance dictate what he does or thinks.
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
whoa, errant apostrophe.
pam5981 - June 26, 2009
he's a competitor
reminds me a bit of hudson in his persona. but a lot weirder.
cuppingmaster - June 26, 2009
