Correct me if I am wrong, but we can control an extra year of Anderson if we send him down for two months? Let’s face it, he has not had a good year, and he is missing his spots.

He hasn't had the same life on his fastball or many of his breaking pitches

I’m not suggesting any injury, more “dead arm” – I would have no problem with sending him to AAA for a couple months, just for the extra year of contract control.

Self-deprecation aside (which, incidentally, seems contrived), his demeanor on several occasions strikes a note with me which really strikes me as being way too full of himself, way to self-important.

I truly respect the A's announcers.

Any of us would have probably been a little more negative a few times this year. These guys have some serious composure to not flat out tell the truth about how sucky some of these guys are.

I would respect them more if they were more honest.

I think they just speak in code.

There are other teams out there! You need to watch a Nationals game just to see how horrible Rob Dibble is at announcing. And how good Ron Darling and Keith Hernandez are on the Mets broadcast.

I live in NY so I can see Keith and Ron for free.

I hate Cohen tho.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about Cohen's voice going up an octave on every Met Home Run call.

His HR call is terrible.

And I love Ken Singleton for the Yankees. I even kinda like Michael Kay.

I had to go mow my lawn for the last 2 innings of the game

Every blade of grass was a Gnat. And I use a pushmower, so I get a sense of personal accomplishment as I cut them down.
