My mexican soccer team hasn’t won anything in 58 years now
My home country has a stupid virus and might not make it to the world cup
It's like when your team wins the division (say the Rangers win it this year),
v. few people are going to look back in a decade and say "Hang on, that pennant you have hanging for the 2009 AL West Division crown is tainted because the division was weak that year.
My daughter is waiting for me to read her the last chapter of the sixth book in the Harry Potter series. [She can read on her own; we’ve just been at this since she was a lot younger.] Anyway, she likes the A’s, but wouldn’t mind a quick outcome.
The A’s pitcher know their As, Bs and Cs.
The A’s staff has a ton of Gs
Once in a while you’ll get a big O
There’s a small chance you’ll see a W or an S
But more often they make you spout Zzzzzs
Looks that way unless they turn it around in a hurry. I don’t like conceding but they are too bad to make a run at this stage. 7 games under .500 and 1 of only two teams with single digit wins.
Cust went with the pitch. Nice hitting. Oh well. They’ll come around and start hitting. I think it’s just a matter of time. Tomorrow’s a day game, which will be a win. I like our chances against Torornto, too. Ususally rise to the occasion against really good teams. Look at the bright side. Dan Giese! Wow! Nice pitching. And the bullpen looked sharp too. We’ve had trouble against Feldman before. Everybody take a deep breath and repeat after me. It’s May. We always suck before the All Star Break. We will go on a big run very soon. Tomorrow’s another day. Go A’s!

One won lost won - May 6, 2009

OldhamA - May 6, 2009
No doubt. That is the dumbest thing when "experts"
say “they are beating up on weaker competition” which basically means a lot of teams and the entire AL West.
ohtobe21likehuston - May 6, 2009
It's like when your team wins the division (say the Rangers win it this year),
v. few people are going to look back in a decade and say "Hang on, that pennant you have hanging for the 2009 AL West Division crown is tainted because the division was weak that year.
A win is a win is a win.

ATarHeel - May 6, 2009
Zook tried to do much with it
Cust went with the pitch. Go A’s!
