The guy who sits near the crowd mics with the really annoying chear needs to die
You know, the guy with the “Daaaaaaa, Da-Da-Da!” or whatever chear you can hear in high leverage situations. It’s the most annoying chear in the world. It reminds me of the hyper-annoying “Can Can Can!” song from Moulin Rouge, skipping so the intro repeats endlessly until murder fills your thoughts.
1) Get an out pitch
2) Cut your walks in half to 6 an inning
3) Throw harder than 34 mph
4) Limit hits to 4 an inning
5) Work on your throws to second
6) Call Bob Geren when you get an out in AAA and tell him you are ready to come back.
7) Miss the bus when they call you back up
I might add miss the bus on the next road trip and just head to stockton to play for them…Just throw strikes to the single A guys..maybe Batting Practice anything to teach him to throw strikes
first
dammit!

yawedout21 - May 4, 2009
I think having Gallagher and Gio up on the mound together

oaklandSMASH - May 4, 2009
and Gio's wouldn't?
the offence can’t score anyways, so we’d be worrying anyhow.
Jjjsixsix - May 4, 2009
Gio looked great
until that one inning…Bad innings happen…Every inning for Eveland is a bad inning…Constant baserunners
yawedout21 - May 4, 2009
no, i agree.
Gio was excellent considering that it was 5 high leverage innings. 5ip, 3er is not bad, and wouldn’t be a bad start.
It’s not a start though when it’s that high leverage.
I’m just saying the offence sucks, and if its 5ip 3 er starting, we still have four innings of pen and there’s a decent chance we’re behind.
Jjjsixsix - May 4, 2009
Offense isnt great

oaklandSMASH - May 4, 2009
Rally time
please
they owe it to us
oaklandSMASH - May 4, 2009
After last night they shouldn't lose for 3 weeks
to make up for it.
thesteve9x - May 4, 2009
Blevins' fastball looked good,
something it didn’t during spring training.
Nico - May 4, 2009
Blevins looked really good.....oh.
ZigFan31 - May 4, 2009
Maybe we should send all are pitchers down to AAA
If this is what they look like when they come back
adragon - May 4, 2009

adragon - May 4, 2009
He can get it lowered here

oaklandSMASH - May 4, 2009
Crosby seems to be staying on the pitch a little better tonight.
Now watch him prove me wrong.
pam5981 - May 4, 2009
Is that
optimistic pessimism?
Wiers103 - May 4, 2009
I just hate being wrong, is all. ;)
pam5981 - May 4, 2009
Jinx! ;-)
baseballgirl - May 4, 2009
Suckitude
Travis Buck does not deserve to use “The Game” as his intro as a side note
oaklandSMASH - May 4, 2009
Texas won
That’s leaves us the same as yesterday pending this game
Trainman - May 4, 2009
which is 1 out from failure
Trainman - May 4, 2009
Okay, we SUCK, we get it!
baseballgirl - May 4, 2009
You tired of seeing that graphic too?
ZigFan31 - May 4, 2009
"Bobby Geren"?
Really?
baseballgirl - May 4, 2009
Can we get the tying run to the plate
so we can pretend
Trainman - May 4, 2009
Yeah
I’d take false, fleeting hope over no hope anyday
Wiers103 - May 4, 2009
I would settle for the on-deck circle
jdub69 - May 4, 2009
Well, you are are fun, even if the team isn't. :-)
baseballgirl - May 4, 2009
Why can't we be the Dodgers at home?
About to go 11-0 on the season at home, ugh.
thesteve9x - May 4, 2009
Because they are good
can hit

adragon - May 4, 2009
Goodnight, sweet prince.
Posting pacquiao pics makes me feel better
though it still sucks
oaklandSMASH - May 4, 2009
strike 3 called sucks.
Jjjsixsix - May 4, 2009
We are good at it
Trainman - May 4, 2009
So disappointing.
thesteve9x - May 4, 2009
pitiful
coffee roaster - May 4, 2009
Caught Looking
That is the A’s for you.
Trainman - May 4, 2009
*sigh* Another day, another dollar....
Jackson23 - May 4, 2009
Man, if we had more hitters who were good at strickouts
We’d totally rule!
worldblee - May 4, 2009
Damn it
ATarHeel - May 4, 2009
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack
Englishmajor - May 4, 2009
Oh crap, not that bug again
Englishmajor - May 4, 2009
What I meant to post was a compliment of sorts to the Slegna (gah!)
for finding a pitcher who does not find it necessary to point at the sky, beat his chest, and scream like a wolverine.
Englishmajor - May 4, 2009
A tip of the cap
to the folks who braved the bad weather to watch…
whatever that was
SwisherThresher - May 4, 2009
I'd like to shake all six of their hands.
mikev - May 4, 2009
That means there will only be four there tomorrow night then?
Trainman - May 4, 2009
Please drive home safely!
Englishmajor - May 4, 2009
Was Embree traded to the Rockies together with Street?
javaball - May 4, 2009
I think he was a Free Agent
Trainman - May 4, 2009
that's what I thought
javaball - May 4, 2009
correct FA
not part of that trade
yawedout21 - May 4, 2009
They seem to using him as a setup man there
javaball - May 4, 2009
It's fucking A's postgame
Why are they interviewing Chone Figgins?
fail
oaklandSMASH - May 4, 2009
not on the radio...thank goodness
OaklandSi - May 4, 2009
personally
Big Jaymee Sire fan…dont care who she is interviewing really…A’s lost doubt they are too eager to talk to anyone and dont wanna put her in harms way
yawedout21 - May 4, 2009
Sometimes no interview is better than one from a douche
Producer FAIL!
oaklandSMASH - May 4, 2009
I think that everytime i listen to
FP…he bothers me
yawedout21 - May 4, 2009
agreed
oaklandSMASH - May 4, 2009
So when does Anderson get DLd?
mikev - May 4, 2009
as soon as they fiure out who will take his place
you know the A’s never rush to DL someone
OaklandSi - May 4, 2009
Gio? Gallagher?
both in and take Eveland to Sacramento with a to-do list
yawedout21 - May 4, 2009
What would be on the to-do list
1) Get an out pitch
2) Cut your walks in half to 6 an inning
3) Throw harder than 34 mph
4) Limit hits to 4 an inning
5) Work on your throws to second
6) Call Bob Geren when you get an out in AAA and tell him you are ready to come back.
7) Miss the bus when they call you back up
Trainman - May 4, 2009
pretty solid list
I might add miss the bus on the next road trip and just head to stockton to play for them…Just throw strikes to the single A guys..maybe Batting Practice anything to teach him to throw strikes
yawedout21 - May 4, 2009
YESTERDAY
yawedout21 - May 4, 2009
Blanton won tonight 6-1
SFBAsportsfan - May 4, 2009
and still had an ERA close to 7
javaball - May 4, 2009

SFBAsportsfan - May 4, 2009
one of those moments against the Phils, who later traded for him
javaball - May 4, 2009
