I went and ate a sandwich in a park, read a book, listened to the game.
Took a few minutes snooze, came back to the office, tried to listen around the squiggles to the game. Posted on AN. Replied to a few work emails. Posted on AN some more. Ate half a banana. Thought about making popcorn, but I haven’t gotten that far yet. Talked to my boss for a few. Posted more on AN.
We have a bunch of hitters with track records and NONE of them are hitting. What is gunna shake these hitters up? Its not like they face an ace everynight? This team has no life at all.
Firing all the other hitting coaches apparently hasn't helped
It’s fairly clear that we’re trotting out AAA hitters on a nightly basis against major league pitching. Well, unless Miguel Batista is on the mound, of course.
1. O-Cab lives and dies with his batting average which is a volatile stat from year to year.
2. Holliday has been hitting very well as of late.
3. Giambi is very old.
4. Crosby hasn’t been successful in a very long time. And even his rookie year wasn’t all that impressive.
I think we just have an unimpressive collection of hitters.
