Since I moved here in 2004, whenever M’s and A’s play I’m listening to M’s announcers, and in my experience — up to and including this game — they give Chavez his due.
Two years ago they said Beltre and Chavez were two of several who were about equally qualified for the GG … and they were right. Last year they said Beltre deserved it more … and they were right.
Of course our hitters are a little different this year so maybe we pound him tomorrow. I would think we need at least half a dozen with Outman pitching.
