OaklandSi - November 1, 2009 reply
Time to brace yourself.
where the F was Rivera?
Nico - November 1, 2009 reply
Now he has to return to the life of being a ‘boost’ at Jamba Juice.
Has Brad Lidge not been home for like, four weeks?
That thing is bigger than most goats.
100% natural human hair scarves
Especially if he hurt himself while swinging and also fell down and looked stupid.
Cale and Sabathia.
So how’s JJ Hardy doing?
Me liketh this not.
The infield had shifted for Tex.
The had one of those ridiculous shifts on in the IF.
Feliz? Where the hell were you?
Feliz was at 2B. I’m still confused.
Or hit him?
man, I’m punchy for a sunday night
Son of a bitch.
no reason to throw one right down broadway
A-Rod can hit fastballs.
P. Feliz: .473 WPA B. Lidge: -.438 WPA
If there was no shift. Lidge should have covered third.
Oh well, I’m off….
Feeba - November 1, 2009 reply
God dammit.
this game is over. likely this series as well.
but there goes the series for philly. Even if they win tomorrow they are dust IMO.
Evil Empire needs to be taken down next year.
Trainman - November 1, 2009 reply
But when it rains, it pours.
Charlie Manuel blew it by not starting Lee in a game his team had 4 runs in them, and Brad Lidge decided that a fastball down the middle to A-Rod was a smart choice.
if he dirts one, gotta rely on the catcher. who, in all respects, seems more than capable
Blanton is not who I would want starting a critical game. Said it yesterday.
we can’t fight it
Which means, he has nearly lost this game single-handedly.
Almost enough to win it single-handedly.
Are there any more teams that just have too many championships? The Canadiens?
drink409 - November 1, 2009 via mobile reply
Should I slap a Phillies sticker on her?
day-to-day - November 1, 2009 reply
And the Lakers don’t have as many as the Celtics.
But the Yankees have way more than anyone else, and it’s not close.
The Lakers have been hot the last decade, but perhaps there’s solace in San Antonio being able to win a few.
Yankees with 26 (27) seems like a lot but the World Series has been played for so many years.
I have to watch
OaklandSi - November 1, 2009 via mobile reply
they can’t even make Rivera throw a decent number of pitches
Hope you don’t dwell on this unfortunate game. Or WS. Or A’s season.
Cliff Lee is our Philadelphia’s last chance.
Pedro AND Hamels to pitch gems afterwards. It’s not looking good.
I.HATE.THEM!!!!!!
We all do. Goddamn Yankees.
then I remembered
