If you didn't make it into the super-secret game thread last night and/or missed game 163, you missed a doozy. Last night's game had everything you want in a winner-take-all type of situation. Not only was the venue rocking with a full house of fans who love their baseball team, but the game itself was remarkably exciting; incorporating defensive plays, plays at the plate, timely hitting, clutch pitching, and more. Because all of that goodness couldn't be contained in nine innings, the game even went extras.
Up first today will be the NL playoffs, followed by the first AL game, then the other NL game as the nightcap.
Colorado Rockies vs. Philadelphia Phillies - 2:37 PM ET - 11:37 AM PT
The starting pitching matchup will be Ubaldo Jimenez against Cliff Lee for Game 1. It will be the first postseason start for Lee, but Jimenez was a key part of Colorado's 2007 run.
Update: Cliff Lee helped get the playoffs off to a boring start (unless you like one-sided pitching gems for the favorites), as he tossed a complete game six-hitter, allowing just one run in the ninth. He also singled and stole a base. No, I'm not kidding. Jimenez had a rocky fifth and sixth (get it? get it?) and was charged with all five runs. The Rockies never had a chance in this one, and they need to pick up the bats against Hamels tomorrow (they will start Cook). Yeah, they're kind of in trouble.
Game 2 tomorrow, same 11:37AM start time
Minnesota Twins vs. New York Yankees - 6:07 PM ET - 3:07 PM PT
Minnesota will have less than a 24 hour turnaround between their amazing win last night and their game against the Yankees tonight. The Twins have not fared well against the Yankees this season, but they are hoping to ride some of their recent momentum into the playoffs. They will be as tired, with no real chance to rest, so they are looking for some breaks. C.C. Sabathia will be starting for the Yankees against likely Brian Duensing.
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers - 9:37 PM ET - 6:37 PM PT
Cy Young candidate Chris Carpenter will be pitching against newcomer-to-the-playoffs Randy Wolf, who had a solid season for the Dodgers with very little run support. The Dodgers faltered down the stretch, but because of their hot start, they still managed to hang onto the top spot in the National League.
Boston/LAA will play tomorrow.
So, who are YOU rooting for?
New threads and lineups will be added as necessary throughout the day; enjoy!

Go Senators! oops I mean Twins
It’s a long shot, but I am pulling for a former divisional rival.
billyball1981 - October 7, 2009
the unfortunate part about rooting for the Tigers last night
Is that I have to switch allegiances if I want the evil empire to lose tonight. Go Twinkies as well.
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
It is the time of year when BB fans - whose teams didn't win their division - are fickle as heck
BERRYJO - October 7, 2009
yep
67MARQUEZ - October 7, 2009
another version of the Senators became the Texas Rangers
OaklandSi - October 7, 2009
Twins in AL, Rockies in NL
Although I will probably be in the minority here in rooting for the Angels (I can barely bring myself to say it) over the Sux in the ALDS. Just need to avoid any Boston success in the postseason to keep their “fans” and the media from ruining my October (one guy I talked to yesterday thought Erstad was on 1st for the Halos—ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!?!?!—granted SSS, but AL West baseball deserves more credit than the Angels have given to it the last few times they’ve been in the postseason, so getting swept in the ALCS seems about right.
MaineAthletic - October 7, 2009
I vomited a little reading that
But if you’re actually in ME and have to listen to Sux drivel constantly, I can see your pain. Personally, I hope they smoke the slegnA then get smoked by the Twinkies.
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
Me too

OaklandSi - October 7, 2009
Phillies and...no one
My 4 least-favorite AL teams are in the playoffs. Rather, my 3 least favorite teams and my least favorite “stadium”. I will rejoice when the Metrodome has hosted its last baseball game, even if it’s the Yankees who do the honors.
I live near Philadelphia, and have no problem with the Phillies as individuals or as a team. After them, maybe the Cards (despite Holliday, but I really don’t harbor any resentment against him so it’s not a big deal). Colorado and LA are no-go with me.
So I guess I’ll be focusing on the schadenfreude for the next few weeks.
Nick - October 7, 2009
Quick note
I do have a problem with Brett Myers as an individual. He’s an asshole.
Nick - October 7, 2009
aside from being inconsistent
what else bad has he done?
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
This.
Nick - October 7, 2009
I agree with this assessment
In public, no less. Makes you wonder what he does when they’re alone…
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
Although you may be in the minority
I appreciate you holding him responsible for his personal actions. I also was quite upset by the lack of response to that incident, and the questions being more about how long he would be unavailable to pitch. Thanks for making sure the memory doesn’t die.
el generico - October 7, 2009
I am not sure the majority of people think domestic violence is OK
Future Ed - October 7, 2009
I like the Phillies in general, so am rooting for them
and I’m also rooting for the Twins to triumph over my three least favorite MLB teams, despite the fact that they are still playing in my least favorite ballpark.
OaklandSi - October 7, 2009
Most of the Twins players and fans agree about the Dome, of course
Englishmajor - October 7, 2009
I like the Phillies as well
J-Roll, Utley, Howard, Stairs.
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
Well...
Redbirds over Dodgers, Phils over Rockies, and Twinkies over the Yankers.
mynameistyler - October 7, 2009
Then, of course...
Anaheim over the bastards.
mynameistyler - October 7, 2009
don't care much, but Twins
all the way would be ideal. I like the team and the city.
if not them, the Rockies b/c of Giambi
that said, like others here, I’d prefer the Slegna over the Red Sox in the ALDS b/c Red Sox fans are awful – whereas, Angels fans are usually ok in my expeience
I cannot deny the allure of Yankees v. Dodgers in the WS though I might vomit if it happens. If it does, I’m rooting Manny all the way despite the uniform. Could do the same for Swisher but….no. Can’t.
my_cat_max - October 7, 2009
that would be hot
if giambi got a ring the year after he left the yankees
Future Ed - October 7, 2009
dangit! i thought i was settled on torre beating the yankees as my favorite evil emp-irony. must rethink. torre’s still got years to do this. giambi only a few weeks.
AV - October 7, 2009
I've got two meetings to prepare for this morning
why would you do this to me!!!
Anyway, hopefully I can dip in now and then.
I’m going to be rooting for St Louis, but I have to say, and yes, this turns my stomach;
I won’t be sorry if Nick Swisher gets a WS win, Yankees or no Yankees
bobnothing - October 7, 2009
Just hoping for some exciting games.
The playoffs have more or less been a bore the last few years (with more sweeps than series’ going the distance).
I am ok with anyone from the NL (even LA, I guess) over the AL teams. Though it would not break my heart if the Twins win.
That said, I love this time of year. Where the crowds go crazy on every strike two, regardless of inning. And while we talk about it being 20 years since the A’s last won the whole thing (ok, I talk about it), it’s been three long seasons since we’ve made the playoffs.
And it feels like longer.
67MARQUEZ - October 7, 2009
That Dodgers v. Phillies game last that Stairs hit the HR in was exciting
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009

67MARQUEZ - October 7, 2009
Twins.
My buddy’s brother in law is on the team

dtownmbrown - October 7, 2009
RP Jesse Crain.
I’ve never met him or anything, but it’s basically the only connection I have with anything involving the playoffs.
mikev - October 7, 2009
Hey, you got a rooting interest...
I’ll be supporting the Twinkies, as well, if only because they are the least qualified AL team for me to hate, and I usually like to root for the AL in the postseason. Although the Rockies would be sweet, too.
dtownmbrown - October 7, 2009
is anyone else having problems with comments remaining unread?
Future Ed - October 7, 2009

micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
Don't really like any of the teams.
Special hatred reserved for two of the AL teams.
My preferences are:
Twins>Sox>slegnA>Yankees (the choice between those last two was very difficult….with any luck neither will make it out of the first round)
Phillies>Cards>Rockies>Dodgers
(Note on the Red Sox: As longtime ANers will know, I have a history with the Red Sox. My grandpa, who grew up in Salem, Mass., was a huge Red Sox fan. And way back in ‘75 I found myself rooting for them in the World Series—and I was surprised at the time that I did, as they had just beaten my beloved A’s. Anyhow, for decades I felt about the Sox the way I do now about the Mariners: I didn’t root for them, but once the A’s were out of the picture, I liked to see them win. But I have discovered that I am a foul-weather Sox fan! I was thrilled by their success in 2004 (especially at the expense of the Yankees), but since then I’ve found them and their fans—always obnoxious, if lovably so during the decades of not winning it all—harder and harder to stomach. Still, they’re nowhere near the Yanks or the slegnA for me.)
GreenNGoldSooner - October 7, 2009
My own preferences?
So hard on three of the AL teams, and I really would like the Dodgers/Yankees matchup (don’t kill me), but I would like the Twins to win (don’t think have a chance in hell though), and Boston to best the Angels just for fun again. Then I want Boston to lose, the remaining team to the WS. (I know you have Boston history…and I totally agree…SO obnoxious now that they have won!)
Don’t really care about the NL…except I’m rooting against Matt Holliday. Irrational? You better believe it. Dodgers are my home town team, so probably root for them and the Rockies.
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
I go by people around me who care
I don’t really care who wins. Underdogs get priority for me. My family is all in SoCal and are big dodger supporters. So if the win I will say “hmm, interesting.” If the twins win (my bossand underdog) I say “neato.” Rockies, “ok, good for Janson.” PHilllies, “Huh, 2 in a row joe.” Cardinals, “meh, didn’t you guys just win?” Yankees, “meh, but I bet Swisher will have a nice night.” Red Sox “bummer.” Angels “hot stove can start”
Future Ed - October 7, 2009
the slegnA winning the WS again is my personal nightmare
and a recipe for a sleepless offseason
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
I like underdogs as well.....
so in the AL I guess that’s the TWINS – not sure in the NL.
BERRYJO - October 7, 2009
Lineups for the first game have been added!
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
Meaningful baseball does make work more fun though!
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
Anyone else pulling for the Rockies
just because of CarGon, Street, and Giambi? As A’s fans, we’ve got a lot invested in that team. Rockathleticstober baby!
A'sian - October 7, 2009
against the Phillies, yes
but not in general
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
I disagree.
ElQuesoCapitan - October 7, 2009

What about Embree and Greg Smith and Matt Murton?
MMunoz33 - October 7, 2009
Embree?
still playing?
Future Ed - October 7, 2009
Active roster, I guess.
Smith is injured, Murton in minors, and Embree?
A'sian - October 7, 2009
nah
Im rooting for the Dodgers, just because they have more players who were around in the mid-90’s than any other team
PL78 - October 7, 2009
Twins in AL; ? in NL
The other three teams in AL are 3 of my 4 least favorite teams (along with the Mets). In the NL there’s something I like about each team so I’m rooting more for competitive games/series. There hasn’t been a 5 game DS since 2005.
elephantbaseball - October 7, 2009
GO (insert national league team)!!!
ElQuesoCapitan - October 7, 2009
Who are better announcers?
Rockies’ or Phillies’? So I can pick on GDA
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
I went with Rockies...
…but I purposely chose Tigers last night since I was rooting for Minnesota. Oh, that and the Minnesota announcers drove me crazy! They didn’t even raise their voices on a homerun!
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
I actually liked the Tigers' announcers a lot
they had a good rapport. Sounded a lot like Ken and Ray. With no dibs.
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
i have a friend who thinks ken and ray can’t stand each other. i don’t hear it, but he’s convinced. on the other hand, i’m think vince and ken get testy with each other but he doesn’t hear that.

OaklandSi - October 7, 2009
I think I'm pulling for the Phillies in this series.
Nothing against the former A’s, but it would be kind of cool to see the Phillies repeat (last NL team: Big Red Machine 1975-76).
And then there’s Michelle.
67MARQUEZ - October 7, 2009
I think Yorvit Torrealba is the best name in baseball right now

just checking in quickly, hi everybody
I have the Phillies-Rockies game on the radio at work, but will need to go to a meeting at 2 pm — long one, will miss the rest of the game, and part of Game 2 today.
OaklandSi - October 7, 2009
i was just going to ask… what radio station are these games on?
AV - October 7, 2009
ESPN
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
in the Bay Area it's on KNBR 1050 AM
OaklandSi - October 7, 2009
thank you!

OaklandSi - October 7, 2009

what's unacceptable, my job?
I agree — rather rude of my job to interfere with my baseball addiction!
OaklandSi - October 7, 2009
I agree completely!

I must say, if I pay 20 bones a month for premium MLB TV, I should be able to watch every playoff game.
Get with the friggin’ times…
rebus - October 7, 2009
aren't they charging $10 bucks extra? or is that only for people who didn't have mlb.tv in 2009?
OaklandSi - October 7, 2009
If they are, I didn't get the memo.
rebus - October 7, 2009
You can't wait the games?
Oh, that stupid blackout rule. Isn’t there a TV station on the internet that gets TBS?
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
that's obviously "watched"
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009

My observations:
-ITs windy in at the park today
-The guy at third was safe
-That was a nice double play
-DAy October baseball is great, just look at the shadows, they give the game a sense of urgency, like you have to finish before the streetlights come on
-I shouldv’e gotten the office with the TeeVee
Future Ed - October 7, 2009
Hahahaha...I love your last point
I wish mine had one. Although I never expected to leave the office at 5:30 yesterday and actually see a couple of innings at home!

not seriously hurt or nothing. he just got turned around and hit the wall, then spilled out while the ball rolled away. the ball might have been in his glove for a nano, and the wind might have been a factor.

Yeah, the wind is ridiculous out there!

cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
The TV was only supposed to be for educational purposes.
But they knew me there.
67MARQUEZ - October 7, 2009
big man on campus, eh?
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
I liked books.
Those and the SI mags.
67MARQUEZ - October 7, 2009
speaking of sports mags, did you see the cover of ESPN
with the MMA chick
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
I did not.
Is it recent?
67MARQUEZ - October 7, 2009
Gina or the Cyborg?
Leopold Bloom - October 7, 2009
my sling
is collecting dust now. Can’t use it at work.
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009
This game didn't live up to last night's
Hope Minn can give NYY a run for its money
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
Does anyone know if any of the games are on the radio in the Bay Area?
I have mlb.com audio but will be out of the office oainting for a while.
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
that should be painting not oainting.
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
it's on AM1050
bobnothing - October 7, 2009
thanks Bob
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
Where are you painting?
What are you painting?
Intrigued, tell me more!
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
is that
sarcasm? : -)
I’m painting an apartment that was just vacated. They stained the carpet pretty badly also so I will need to replace it.
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
Where = In Novato
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
I pictured you by a mountain stream
with an easel.
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
and no, was serious!
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
that sounds nice :-) But alas, tis not so pretty
the apartment does have a nice landscaped courtyard view though.
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
Anyone else's tv feed go off?
bobnothing - October 7, 2009
Yes.
Apparently I’m supposed to feel sorry for the poor signal.
Englishmajor - October 7, 2009
Likewise
looks like it’s back now.
Or their showing highlights of another Rockies – Phillies game. I wouldn’t know, tbh

In fact, I’d like to see Nick on and pitching
bobnothing - October 7, 2009
TV announcers say the Twins are playing on emotion
And the Yankees on expectation. Fair enough, though I would have said “entitlement”.
Englishmajor - October 7, 2009
Haha...
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
That's remarkably pithy for TBS
bobnothing - October 7, 2009
I do like the Yankee bleacher fans' roll call
Englishmajor - October 7, 2009
I LOVE it...
…have you heard it in person?
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
what do they do?
AV - October 7, 2009
they call out each player by name
as a group repeatedly until the person acknowledges them.
Leopold Bloom - October 7, 2009
It sounds annoying, but it's really fun
They just keep yelling “Der-ek Je-ter” over and over until Jeter turns and tips his hat. Repeat x7 (they don’t do pitcher or catcher). Awesome first inning fun.
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
yeah, that’s pretty cute. we should do it to them when they come here. right in the middle of a pop-up or something.
AV - October 7, 2009
No, I haven't been to Yankee Stadium
One of these days….
Englishmajor - October 7, 2009
Did you go to the old place?
Went once with a BIG group and all we could get together were those seats behind the Yankee bullpen. Those HAVE to be the worst seats on baseball.
The girls liked that they had a good view of Mariano though
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009 via mobile
I sat down the line...LOVED IT!
But they only sold beer. I wanted the fancy Angel Stadium drinks.
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
you mean the giant soda with those damn funky lids
That never stay on right??? Grrr
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009 via mobile
i sat in the third deck. that thing is nearly vertical. you get dizzy finding your seat. but once you’re there, it’s like watching a game from a helicopter.
AV - October 7, 2009
I've never been to a worse case of this than old Riverfront.
I saw a Bengals game there and it literally felt like if you leaned forward, you’d fall about 500 feet.
Leopold Bloom - October 7, 2009
i kinda liked it!
AV - October 7, 2009
Yes
they also taunt the opposing outfielders by saying things like ONE GUYc"Hey Bradley hip hip!" CROWD “You’re GAY.”
Classy
Future Ed - October 7, 2009
Yeah, not so much.
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
can’t wait for the day when a player turns around and says, “why, yes. yes i am. thank you very much.”
AV - October 7, 2009
let's go twins!!
OakA'sHoney - October 7, 2009

cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009 via mobile
Well the Phillies made it look easy against the Rockies I guess
I really think the Phillies are the best team in the NL. I sure hope the Twins can make a go of it and at least take a game or two against the evil empire.
sirbed - October 7, 2009
Just have A-rod keep hitting ;-)

BERRYJO - October 7, 2009

Duh :-)
cuppingmaster - October 7, 2009 via mobile
Thanks for helping confirm my decision!!!
BERRYJO - October 7, 2009

AV - October 7, 2009
There's some quality to this game
That’s like watching paint dry or grass grow.
Hit4TheCycle - October 7, 2009
please tell me the yankees are messing up somehow
OakA'sHoney - October 7, 2009
They're doing nothing
It’s kind of like the premise of Speed, why does the bus have to stay at 50 mph, that’s slow on the freeway, why not the exciting 60 or 65 that I know buses can reach?
Hit4TheCycle - October 7, 2009
Not yet....pretty slow so far
BERRYJO - October 7, 2009
I was just wondering what it must be like for the Twins to play in a series instead of the high stakes drama of yesterday's game.
Like there was NO tomorrow!!
BERRYJO - October 7, 2009
On probably four hours of sleep
i know what that part feels like, anyhow.
Englishmajor - October 7, 2009
Yeah! A hit!
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
Let's go Twinkies!!!

Hit4TheCycle - October 7, 2009
No kidding
And there’s the basehit
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
There went THAT rally.
BERRYJO - October 7, 2009
Does anyone else feel like falling asleep right now?
Not because the game is boring, I just feel drained.
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
Long day?
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
mostly stayed up too late
but it is a busy day.
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
have you been making signs all day?
Leopold Bloom - October 7, 2009
nope
have you? probably? is that physical act of making signs tiring or is just the stress of running a business?
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
bit of both.
prolly more the running a business part, staying on top of everything, which I regularly fail at…
Leopold Bloom - October 7, 2009
my cousins work in construction
and they always make fun of me if i complain about work because it isn’t hard labor. Office work and light repairs might be boring but they still can make you tired.
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
You should just get TA's to do all the work like I do Bloom
I sleep through most of my classes.
sirbed - October 7, 2009
I'd abuse some workers if I could.
maybe I should hire some Mexicans…
Leopold Bloom - October 7, 2009
Yes.
oblique - October 7, 2009
maybe we should get some caffeine?
although I’m not a coffee fan. Mt Dew Code Red sounds good though.
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
I'm an extreme lightweight
Just drank a Coke Zero and thinking it’ll pick me up a bit..
oblique - October 7, 2009
good luck :-)
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
Thanks!
I think something called “Code Red” might actually induce tachycardia.
oblique - October 7, 2009
you made me go m-w.com to look that up
tachycardia
you are correct, massive amounts of sugar and caffeine would do that. But it tastes so good.
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
code red?
cityplANner - October 7, 2009
But would it wake me up?
Actually it might. The Bill Hare/Deke Sharon production combo predisposes me to think that this album is pretty good, at a minimum.
oblique - October 7, 2009
you *know* the Deke Sharon/Bill Hare tandem?
I thought that I was the only a cappella nerd on AN.
And, well, it’s been described as one of the most revolutionary college a cappella albums ever made. Certainly the most influential over the last 10-15 years.
Where everyone else was pussyfooting around with protools and studio editing techniques, this album went in without any reservations. It was very controversial in its day.
cityplANner - October 7, 2009
Interesting!
I’ll have to get my hands on a copy. Funny that you linked me to that without being aware of my a cappella nerdiness!
I know Bill pretty well, and Deke not well at all. My group Hookslide has worked with Bill on our albums, our first being in 2002 so we had a great experience with his revolutionary setup (though our production didn’t call for much in the way of effects etc). And we opened for the Jacks a few times many years ago.
Also, two of our guys (and one of the wives) are heavily involved in CASA / RARB / ICCA / whatever else.
Are you or were you in a group?
oblique - October 7, 2009
You're in Hookslide? Nice!
I was a member of the Tufts Beelzebubs, ‘01-’05.
It was heady days.
I know Deke very well and Bill pretty well. I also got to sing with Ed Boyer for 3 years, and he’s starting to make his own waves in a cappella production now as well.
cityplANner - October 7, 2009
Seems like you each know one of the pair well!!
Small world dept, huh? but cool.
BERRYJO - October 7, 2009

sirbed - October 7, 2009
perfectly good reason to hate somebody

and it’s mainly because of how some media types act like he’s the greatest thing since sliced bread.
sirbed - October 7, 2009
that play versus Jeremy notwithstanding
(it was an amazing play).
The fact that he wouldn’t switch positions so the person whom many believe was/is the greatest SS ever pretty much makes me despise him. I hated him before that. But I have no respect for him now, either.
Leopold Bloom - October 7, 2009
there you go. thanks summoning that replay.
AV - October 7, 2009
He should have switched to second base
As I’ve said before A-Rod is better in every way
sirbed - October 7, 2009

Leopold Bloom - October 7, 2009
or is Jeter Satan?
I mean I’m pretty sure he’s John Elway but I could be wrong.
sirbed - October 7, 2009
Derek Jeter ands John Elway are the same person?!
Leopold Bloom - October 7, 2009
Hmm it would explain a few things
except that Elway lost a lot more in the playoffs in his prime then Jeter did.
sirbed - October 7, 2009
I would think that all deities except for Vishnu root for Derek Jeter
Vishnu, being stubborn, is all about old videotapes of Dave Kingman.
Gaijin_Suketto - October 7, 2009
You continue to do no wrong.
Leopold Bloom - October 7, 2009
I hate to say this but
A-Rod is the anti Jeter in the playoffs. I still hate them both.
micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
So what does this mean for the Dodger game?
You know this game will bleed into that one.
Hit4TheCycle - October 7, 2009
Are they on the same channel?
BERRYJO - October 7, 2009
You know what I hated?
Until this season, the Angels were on ESPN radio, where the playoffs were being held. I’d be listening to an awesome playoff game, and it would CUT OUT in the eighth or ninth inning FOR THE PRE-GAME SHOW!
I like that they have their own channel now. I should have the choice to choose Angels baseball.
baseballgirl - October 7, 2009
PLAYOFFS.
ElQuesoCapitan - October 7, 2009
With the starting pitching the Twins have
how did they make the playoffs? Brian Duensing as the game 1 starter? Carl Pavano on the team? Amazing of course it helped that the Tigers choked it away
sirbed - October 7, 2009
It's a very good question
HUGE underdogs

ElQuesoCapitan - October 7, 2009
I've been reading a lot of comments today hating on one team or another...
but I just can’t find it in my heart to hate a baseball team.
When I try to generate hate, I just hate all life and existence and want it all to burn in a cleansing fire, sparing nothing but a time capsule full of the collected recordings of Jim Nabors.
Is this normal?
Gaijin_Suketto - October 7, 2009
Seek, aid(s)
ElQuesoCapitan - October 7, 2009

micdog2001 - October 7, 2009
