Anybody actually rooting FOR the slegnA in this thread should be bANned. Or FOR either team. In my case, I am rooting AGAINST the slegnA, but would also not mind a loss by the Wankees.
This is HUGE because it makes Scioscia stick with Mathis, who let’s face it is good for at least a few games a year where he actively loses it for them, even more committedly. Like I said in the earlier thread Scioscia-Mathis is a bit like like Beane-Chavez, in terms of the inability of the authority figure to see how the player they identify with so deeply really kinda hurts the team.
I’m thinking if he plays the carom directly and fires to Jeter, he gets the ball to Jeter a heck of a lot earlier than Melky was able to throw the ball. It still would have taken quite a play to get Kendrick, but I think that was the best shot they had. Hairston wasn’t going to catch the ball and should have realized that.

I still dont understand where Facebook gets its friend suggestions from....It was weird the day I logged in and there you were on the top of my page as a friend suggestion
That 1-2 pitch to Wolf was actually a great example, I suspect,
of a home plate umpire’s view of the pitch being blocked by the catcher because of being positioned behind the plate. Not that Barrett has needed any help blowing calls, but I’ll bet if he has the CF camera angle he calls it a strike.
Ok, so is it that Manny just really does not care or what? He just appears to be disinterested....
I dont understand his complete lack of emotion on the field…That crazy catch that he made just off the grass….it was just like….ho hum..if I catch it i catch it if I dont I dont….la de dah….And then seeing him at the plate its the same thing…Its like if I get a hit cool…if I strike out cool…Yawn……
If I had actually been online at all this past week, I would’ve dropped off some soup and chocolate martini’s for you. Soup to help get rid of the illness, martini to help you forget it… :)
I’m not really a fan of martinis — I prefer a gimlet or gin-and-tonic when I drink gin. And I really can’t imagine needing a machine to mix one for me.
Let’s put on our Captain Obvious cape for a moment and deliver this nugget of wisdom: There’s no good reason for anyone to buy the Waring Martini Maker. No good reason it should exist at all. For one long minute this device does through electrical what your arms can achieve in a mere 10 seconds… and it does a worse job of it too.
Bwahahaha!

sirbed - October 19, 2009
You mean
8 innings of one run ball? I’ll take that again. And a NYY win.
baseballnut020 - October 19, 2009
Best possible outcome
Series is more interesting, plus it can only reinforce Mike Scoscia’s predilections toward playing Jeff Mathis more. Surely they can’t cut him now!
PaulThomas - October 19, 2009
it's funny how luck makes scoscia look like a genius
he doesn’t run willits for mathis, and mathis slugs the GW hit.

do they prevent Kendrick from scoring? That’s kind of how it looked to me in real time.

Nah.
I mean, not without the most perfect couple throws in the history of MLB ever.
mikev - October 19, 2009
whoever ended up throwing from the OF for the yanks
ended up making that play closer than it ought to have been. he launched it.
nevertheless, he was going to be safe all the way.
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Melky Cabrera

PaulThomas - October 19, 2009
i assume hairston's arm is worse
thus, kendrick still safe

But Hairston's arm doesn't matter that much
I’m thinking if he plays the carom directly and fires to Jeter, he gets the ball to Jeter a heck of a lot earlier than Melky was able to throw the ball. IMO
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
you could use a rally towel at home for various chores
but a thunderstick?
ak_A - October 19, 2009
Waking the kids up on a school day?
Nick - October 19, 2009
Ummm....
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009

ak_A - October 19, 2009
I know where your mind is.

mikev - October 19, 2009
A white rally towel though
Sounds like a surrender
Hit4TheCycle - October 19, 2009
Better than a white rally feather
PaulThomas - October 19, 2009
That's what, a 65 year old reference?
Nice callback
bobnothing - October 19, 2009
delayed fair call there
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
I think baseball fields would look better without all that cross-hatching on them
Nick - October 19, 2009
SF doesnt have the checkered field.....I think it makes it look kind of minor leagueish though...
wacchampions - October 19, 2009
from the mowing you mean?
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Yeah
Nick - October 19, 2009

Hit4TheCycle - October 19, 2009

“Hey! Don’t call me Cupcakes!”
whiteshoes40 - October 19, 2009

(groan) “I ate one too many cupcakes”
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
hello low strike
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Wow, Ron Darling virtually never says anything even remotely interesting

How do you think he passed the National Telecast audition?

I thought that’s how it worked

lynnzgal - October 19, 2009

I understand a lot of celebs do DTV adds…..must pay well.
ak_A - October 19, 2009
I'd think they'd all be above it.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009

OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Woot!
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
muahahahaha matt kemp
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
I'd prefer the Dodgers to win, but I would not mind
some extra inning drama to extend my evening diversion in an entertaining way.
ak_A - October 19, 2009
muahahahaha casey blake
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Nice one!
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
That 1-2 pitch to Wolf was actually a great example, I suspect,
of a home plate umpire’s view of the pitch being blocked by the catcher because of being positioned behind the plate. Not that Barrett has needed any help blowing calls, but I’ll bet if he has the CF camera angle he calls it a strike.
Nico - October 19, 2009
is it wrong to lick the remaining delicious olive oil off of your plate?
oh what the heck…
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
that good?

cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009

and I love whole grain everything else.
sirbed - October 19, 2009

my favorite is made from farro but it’s hard to find
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Farro is delish!
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009

Ok, so is it that Manny just really does not care or what? He just appears to be disinterested....
I dont understand his complete lack of emotion on the field…That crazy catch that he made just off the grass….it was just like….ho hum..if I catch it i catch it if I dont I dont….la de dah….And then seeing him at the plate its the same thing…Its like if I get a hit cool…if I strike out cool…Yawn……
wacchampions - October 19, 2009
He is too cool for school - but it seems there is no affect there at all.....
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
Some people just play that way
and hey it works for Manny
sirbed - October 19, 2009
thats how I work
Future Ed - October 19, 2009
I'm a pretty laid back person for the most part
and I never get all that upset with any of my students or players that I coach.
sirbed - October 19, 2009

Future Ed - October 19, 2009

judging from all the beatles songs on these commercials.
Future Ed - October 19, 2009
that is so wrong
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Is it too early for me to say I didn't think much of Michael Jackson?
sirbed - October 19, 2009
not even the thriller album?
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
I meant more of him as a person
especially with all the kid stuff.
sirbed - October 19, 2009
oh that stuff, yea he was manipulative and had alot of issues
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
I cracked up at school today b/c I heard a kid singing Yellow Submarine walking across campus
Their music is getting a lot of new play – partially b/c of Rock Band game I think
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
I played that game at a party and friends and family have been playing the CD's
and for the first time I’m starting to like the Beatles especially the later stuff.
sirbed - October 19, 2009
The digital remix is amazing!
Too. Thanks, LB!
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
Was that your present??
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009

lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
All Bloom has sent me is heartache
sirbed - October 19, 2009
He's a heartbreaker.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
Is he a dreammaker and a lovetaker?
Nick - October 19, 2009
Yes.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
You should tell him not to mess around with you
Nick - October 19, 2009
I did
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
Were you wearing one of those little rope-like headbands at the time?
Nick - October 19, 2009
I know I put on my wig and everything

sirbed - October 19, 2009

OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
i think those fans really enjoyed that manny strikeout
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Manny didn't care
Future Ed - October 19, 2009

cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009

Nick - October 19, 2009
if you're ever near UCLA
diddy reese. two fresh cookies around a scoop of ice cream for a dollah-twentyfive
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Thanks for the tip
I haven’t been to SoCal in about 10 years — next time I go, whenever that is, the first order of business will be to find a really good burrito.
If there’s room after that, I might have ice cream.
Nick - October 19, 2009
That is a solid plan - Nick!

lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
well, she did grow up to be a stripper
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
who?
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
gypsy rose lee
lynnz was singing a song from Gypsy
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Gypsy Rose Lee.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
you girls know a lot
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
we know about musicals, handbags, hot guys
important stuff
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
That explains why you don't know about me.
mikev - October 19, 2009
i know about electronics modding and macs
more interesting stuff
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
And that comes in handy, too.
But you have to love a stripper song.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
nothing against strippers or songs about them ;-)
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
uh ...let's see I know about.....hmm....
sirbed - October 19, 2009
Depends entirely on your POV
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
Don't forget make-up and jewelry
Especially Jewelry!
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
yes, and cocktails
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
And a man that can cook.
Just so he can spell me.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
That is VERY important!
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
i can cook
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
You win then!
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
sweet!
bake me a cake ;-)
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Waah!
You know I can’t. But I can grill you the best rib-eye you’ve ever had.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
that works too
yum!
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
how about a cupcake?
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Hi.
mikev - October 19, 2009
You know you're in there.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
I do my best
mikev - October 19, 2009
right now let's see I know about......hmm
sirbed - October 19, 2009
I know.
Our standards are high, sirbed.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
and sexy undergarments
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Because they make US feel sexy.
And you want that, right?
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
I always want to know how lingerie looks
on the floor next to the bed because that’s where I want to see it
sirbed - October 19, 2009
this
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
you mean we've benn wasting our $
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Depends on your POV
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
Not if they make us feel sexy.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
no because getting it off and on
the floor is fun as well
sirbed - October 19, 2009
hate to break it to you
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Too late.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
NO YOU HAVE NOT BEEN WASTING IT.
mikev - October 19, 2009
A girl I knew in College was a stripper
at least this is what I heard I don’t have an eye witness account
sirbed - October 19, 2009
it's not uncommon
a friend of mine was a nude model for art class
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
that's different
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
you mean nude models for art classes
don’t get paid in singles?
sirbed - October 19, 2009
I don't think they give many lap dances, either
Nick - October 19, 2009
maybe
but they get the cash in envelopes, instead of in g-strings
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
I have a friend who mostly paid for grad school dancing in gentlemans clubs.
Focus- Gender/ Feminist studies @ UCB.
brian.only - October 19, 2009
now we're talking
mikev - October 19, 2009
This has potential.
mikev - October 19, 2009
hey just wait until you see my pictures from Tampa
sirbed - October 19, 2009
orly?
mikev - October 19, 2009
oya
sirbed - October 19, 2009
Sooooo
Let me… entertain you!
And we’ll have a real good time, yessir!
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
We'll have....
A real good time! (where the hell, is iglew, anyway).
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
iglew is reading a 7 thousand page book about Warren Harding
sirbed - October 19, 2009
I'm in.
mikev - October 19, 2009
Except for the hour I watched House
it feels like I’ve watched about 19 hours of baseball today
sirbed - October 19, 2009
Me too! (Minus watching "House")
I didn’t get out of bed until 11:30am, and have pretty much been watching baseball since.
Nico - October 19, 2009
Are you feeling better?
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
Well...I was determined to go to work today no matter what
but woke up at 2am going, “Eh…that’s not gunna happen.” But I am planning to go tomorrow, thanks. I think, hope, pray it’s running its course.
Nico - October 19, 2009
Sounds like you got plenty of rest......keep taking the meds - too! They should be kickin in soon
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
One of the nice parts about living away from the west coast
is that the day games don’t start until after I get off work
sirbed - October 19, 2009
Oh, have you been feeling sick?
Or just playing hookie?
gigglingone - October 19, 2009
Sickest I've been in years. Strep and/or viral infection
No oinky flu, though.
Nico - October 19, 2009
Awwwww, sorry to hear that....
If I had actually been online at all this past week, I would’ve dropped off some soup and chocolate martini’s for you. Soup to help get rid of the illness, martini to help you forget it… :)
gigglingone - October 19, 2009
I was at Bed, Bath, and Beyond the other day
and saw something called an “automatic martini mixer.” How lazy (or drunk?) do you have to be to buy a machine to mix gin, vermouth, and an olive?
The only way it would be worth it would be if it worked like one of those old-fashioned automatic coffee dispenser machines.
Nick - October 19, 2009
Does it measure out the correct proportions of said liquid refreshment??
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
I didn't even look
I’m not really a fan of martinis — I prefer a gimlet or gin-and-tonic when I drink gin. And I really can’t imagine needing a machine to mix one for me.
Nick - October 19, 2009
Me either.....I was just wondering how automatic automatic was!
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
Here's a review
$100!
Nick - October 19, 2009
I love this!!
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
That would have been great, gigglingone
(I would have thrown out the soup).
Nico - October 19, 2009
sounds baaaaaaaaad.
mikev - October 19, 2009
Shut them down and then hit a walk-off.....
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
ping: Chargers
It’s OK to tackle the receiver.
mikev - October 19, 2009
and now its time to play
“is this the game where lidge will melt down?”
My vote is for yes.
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
can adam wainwright pitch instead?
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
No. Not a "blown save" situation.
Nico - October 19, 2009
ha!
true dat
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Save situation
Better send in Lidge for some reason.
DDroney - October 19, 2009
oh wait
ignore this
DDroney - October 19, 2009
Broxton's been sitting for a long time in the cold...
Nick - October 19, 2009
Ernest Hemingway, that you?
Nico - October 19, 2009
Look, the old man is about to pinch hit!
Nick - October 19, 2009
if the next part is about bullfighting then yes it is
sirbed - October 19, 2009
Yikes- see ya.
brian.only - October 19, 2009
oooo frenchie struck out
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
how did that pitch look in TVland?
Gameday shows it out of the zone.
brian.only - October 19, 2009
looked about 6" outside
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Wow
Tough breaks.
brian.only - October 19, 2009
Looked pretty good - maybe a bit low - the TV strike thingy showed it outside
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
great game
I love baseball!
OaklandSi - October 19, 2009
Both have been super tight.
brian.only - October 19, 2009
wait baseball?
I thought we were talking about baseketball
sirbed - October 19, 2009
did anyone else see the movie baseketball?
sirbed - October 19, 2009
Matt Stairs time
Because she’s buying a stairway to heaven.
Hit4TheCycle - October 19, 2009
Stairs ;)
brian.only - October 19, 2009
remember those guys with the sign back in the day
Stairs 3:16 ?
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Dont recall, but thats awesome!
Holy crap Ruiz hit!
brian.only - October 19, 2009
The Keg With Legs
Fun to think that contemporaries of his were playing in the Legends of Baseball on Saturday!
Englishmajor - October 19, 2009
Who's getting on base and who's hitting it out??
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
or getting hit
yowza.
brian.only - October 19, 2009
You were ahead of me b/c I had paused the machine....
It was like seeing into the future…..I thought you had ESP or somethin’
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
Guess that last hit answered my question!
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
Henry Rodriguez
Throws more 100 than Broxton.
Hit4TheCycle - October 19, 2009
Damnit Broxton!
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
the novel I'm reading just. won't. end.
erg. It’s like the end of the movie Return of the King… seventeen different endings — just when you think it’s over, it keeps going!
…just thought I’d share.
whiteshoes40 - October 19, 2009
Whatzit?
brian.only - October 19, 2009
Edgar Huntly, or Memoirs of a Sleep-Walker -- by Charles Brockden Brown.
yep, it’s very well-known.
whiteshoes40 - October 19, 2009
I'll wait for the movie
sirbed - October 19, 2009
Should the Phils try a double steal here?
Nick - October 19, 2009
if i was them i would
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Tingles!
brian.only - October 19, 2009
Pringles!
sirbed - October 19, 2009
I highly approve of games that come down to the last out
Unless the A’s are in them, then I don’t mind if we’re up by two or three or ten runs.
Englishmajor - October 19, 2009
Holy CRAP!!!!!
brian.only - October 19, 2009
OMG!!!!!
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Whoa! Holy Shit!!
Nick - October 19, 2009
Awwww, I was hoping for extra innings.....
gigglingone - October 19, 2009
Phantastic!
Englishmajor - October 19, 2009
FUCK ME!
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
TWSS!
mikev - October 19, 2009
Dayum!
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
STAIRS
drink409 - October 19, 2009
wow
paris7 - October 19, 2009
Phillies!!!!!
world f***in’ champions!
OaklandSi - October 19, 2009
They are playing OUR SONG!!!
What?!?!?!?
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
Yeah, they do that there
Kinda offended me, too.
doctorK - October 19, 2009
Sounded like "Can't Turn You Loose" -- the Blues' Brothers' theme song
Nick - October 19, 2009
I heard "Celebration"
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
They were both in there
Englishmajor - October 19, 2009
I KNOW! We should sue
And it sounded like a crappy remix, too.
Englishmajor - October 19, 2009
holy cow.
Is this the postseason of blown saves/walk-off wins or what?!
whiteshoes40 - October 19, 2009
Wooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
wacchampions - October 19, 2009
Outstanding!
good overcomes evil once again
sirbed - October 19, 2009
I'm in shock
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Still a couple games to play.
brian.only - October 19, 2009
i'm not optimistic
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
well that was exciting
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Sho nuff.
brian.only - October 19, 2009
unfortunately
an undesirable outcome
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
two really good games today
sirbed - October 19, 2009
Go Phils!!!!
wacchampions - October 19, 2009
So Rollins for MVP of this series?? or a pitcher?
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
Rollins for pitcher? Seems unnecessary.
Nico - October 19, 2009
And Craig Sager is CLEARLY drunk as he interviews Rollins.
Nico - October 19, 2009
check out the orange suit
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
My eyes!
they’re burning!
sirbed - October 19, 2009
Oh, my God, what was he wearing?
A hospital waiting room sofa in Omaha is missing its slipcover.
Englishmajor - October 19, 2009
Great imagery- lol!
brian.only - October 19, 2009
he stole my grandma's couch
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
After raiding her liquor cabinet, evidently.
Nico - October 19, 2009
That's so perfect
baseballgirl - October 19, 2009
I love it!
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
++++++
++++++
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
I've been to Omaha more than once and I think you're right
sirbed - October 19, 2009
wow, i feel used, i was rooting for the dodgers, what a tease
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
I know. I feel like a cheap whore, only not good.
Nico - October 19, 2009
here's $5, feel better
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Wow, you prepay?
mikev - October 19, 2009
It's ok. I pre-whore.
Nico - October 19, 2009
he's cheap
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Then why pay for 5 at once?
mikev - October 19, 2009
he's feeling under the weather, wanted to cheer him up
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
By telling people online, right in front of me, that you're lying
to make me feel better? Thx!!!
Nico - October 19, 2009
sshhh you didnt have to point that out
(they’re not that bright)
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
hoo aant britte?
sirbed - October 19, 2009
I'm a $5000 an hour one myself
sirbed - October 19, 2009
can i see your menu?
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
It's all you can eat
sirbed - October 19, 2009
i think it;s the other way around
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
it's eat you can all?
Nico - October 19, 2009
You can eat all, silly.
What a maroon!
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
oh shoot my cover is blown
sirbed - October 19, 2009
{perks up}
mikev - October 19, 2009
Of course "yourself." Who's going to pay to be with you?
Nico - October 19, 2009
haven't you heard Nico my right hand pays top dollar
sirbed - October 19, 2009
i know, no enjoyment
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
Stop rooting for the Dodgers and you'll feel better
sirbed - October 19, 2009
Broxton + road = choke
Nico - October 19, 2009
sirbed + road = roadkill
sirbed - October 19, 2009
so the red teams beat the blue teams today by a score of 5-4
whiteshoes40 - October 19, 2009
GP.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
Wow.
I was still hoping for the West coast mojo.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
all i want to know is this
can the phillies beat the yankees?
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
I sure hope so
(or the slegnA, for that matter)
doctorK - October 19, 2009
Exactly. I guess Cliff Lee is a good start.
Nico - October 19, 2009
I think the Phillies can beat anybody at this point
sirbed - October 19, 2009
okay, i feel better
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
That's sort of what I am thinking......they have been so solid. Playing with authority.
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
The Phillies are playing some great baseball
sirbed - October 19, 2009
the only solace about this is
yes, i think they have a legit shot at it. though the games might all be 9-7 or 11-9
cuppingmaster - October 19, 2009
With the exception of Rivera
Just about every other closer has sucked you know what in the Post Season.
Nathan, Fuentes, Papelbon etc etc
Trainman - October 19, 2009
Franklin, Broxton.
Surprisingly, not Lidge.
Nico - October 19, 2009
actually, I'm not as surprised
Lidge was injured early in the season, and he seemed to take all season to get healthy. Seems he’s fully recovered at the right time.
OaklandSi - October 19, 2009
Lidge is the big question mark
and one of the things that could sink the Phillies
sirbed - October 19, 2009
Nah, he doesn't have to pitch to Pujols.
mikev - October 19, 2009
that helps when you don't have to pitch ot Pujols
sirbed - October 19, 2009
you have to feel sorry for the dodgers a bit, that hurts
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Do not.
mikev - October 19, 2009
I still want an all Cali WS.
Just to piss off Fox, and to boost the state economy. So, yeah, mikey.
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
But then there would be a bunch of 1:00 world series games.
mikev - October 19, 2009
I will never ever ever never ever feel bad for the Dodgers
sirbed - October 19, 2009
never ever ever?
even for poor little ethier who ran his butt off to get the ball?
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
No.
Especially not him.
mikev - October 19, 2009
i guess i'm a softy
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
Oh I'm a softy as well
but 1988 happened and I’ll never forget it.
sirbed - October 19, 2009
that's right
OaklandSi - October 19, 2009
Good for snuggling!
mikev - October 19, 2009
I assume you want to snuggle with OAH and not me right mikev?
sirbed - October 19, 2009
I hate to let you down this way
but yeah.
mikev - October 19, 2009
(cries out in pain)
damn you mikev for breaking my heart
sirbed - October 19, 2009
oh that would've been hawt
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
it still can be
mikev - October 19, 2009
ok, give sirbed a bighug
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
not exactly what I meant
mikev - October 19, 2009
Cool I'll bring the whip cream
sirbed - October 19, 2009
whip cream always reminds me of ryan sweeney
OakA'sHoney - October 19, 2009
It reminds me of Paris in the springtime
and Kim Basinger when she was hot in 9 1/2 weeks
sirbed - October 19, 2009
and the bikini in Friday Night Lights
mikev - October 19, 2009
she was smoking in LA Confidential as well
sirbed - October 19, 2009
nope
OaklandSi - October 19, 2009
I think they really needed this win (I know - obviously) - they are in deep now.
Dodgers needed a momentum shift. Wed. game should be another good one.
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
Joe Torre just said on the postgame show
that they’ll show up to the next game.
Well, I should hope so.
OaklandSi - October 19, 2009
are they going to take it one game at a time?
and play the ball as it bounces?
and see how things shake out?
sirbed - October 19, 2009
No - they only need to win one
that’s their story and they’re sticking to it!!
BERRYJO - October 19, 2009
Since we couldn't dance with the fat man in Fl...
this
lynnzgal - October 19, 2009
it is what it is
OaklandSi - October 19, 2009
