I wouldn’t mind the unorthodoxed approach of using Ziggy either. Devine would be great too.

Ziggy could be great

in the eighth. Wouldn’t mind seeing them as a combo at all.

I like Devine the 9th, Street the 8th,

and Ziggy/Blevins for “situations” – Ziggy for “crisis management” and Blevins for “LOOGYish work”.

The scarecrow don't do LOOGY, man.

He’s too cool for that.

After thinking about it

Ziggy would not be a good closer option because he is so capable of getting a DP in tough situations. I would also like to see him for two innings when necessary.

I would rather keep Ziggy for multi-inning situations

since he has shown his capability to pitch multiple innings in tight situations. Designate Devine as the conventional “9th inning closer” guy.
