how does a somewhat worthless, frequently relocated franchise like the Athletics without a dominant winning tradition in recent memory have such a strong e-presence on the internet exactly? Athletics Nation is ridiculously active, despite no one ever appearing at the park, and without any real reason for bandwagoners to exist. It’s seriously confusin.
of gas and hotels hadn’t almost doubled in the last year… most years i’ve been to at least four games by now, but this year i don’t think i’ll make it until july. oh, and it’s easy to hang out online when the game is never televised in your market!

frequently relocated? LOL The team has been in Oakland for 40 years
“without a dominant winning tradition in recent memory”
First a team being in the same city for 40 years is a “frequently relocated franchise” but now a team thats played in 3 world series in the last 20 years doesn’t have a recent winning tradition. Make up your mind son lol
“any real reason for bandwagoners to exist. It’s seriously confusin.”
lol @ at an Angel fan not understading the concept of a non-bandwagon fan
Why does a an-overpriced, frequently renamed franchise like the Angles with a spotty “winning tradition” over the last 10 years even have a fan blog at all? Halo Heaven is ridiculously dull, despite everyone appearing at the park in the 5th and leaving in the 7th, and without anything but bandwagoners, why does the blog even exist? It’s seriously confusin to any real fan, with a brain, who can both write and type.
San Diego Stadium was one of the great pitcher’s parks of all time. You had to hit the ball into the stands for a home run. In the early ‘80’s they put in a low temporary fence that made the place a much better hitter’s park. Before that happened, though, both Jones and an aging Gaylord Perry put up such great numbers that they won Cy Youngs.
“Major league debut, 2 outs, bottom of the ninth, down 12. I bet you he’s still nervous!” Yeah, or pissed. “Thanks for making my major league debut the most meaningless AB in baseball history.
Very cheerful and personable as always, says he is so happy to be back with the A’s, back on the West Coast, and back with a team that has so much positive energy. Toronto must really have been horrible to him.

Scioscia's lost without his pitching coach.
Or maybe Nick Adenhart will be pitching in place of Moseley.
