Anyone currently watching on MLB.TV? I was earlier, and now I get nothing. All the other games work, but not the Oakland game. Is the feed down? It hasn't worked for about 40 minutes now for me.

I've had it up all game. I don't know if it will stop working if I switch to a different game and try to switch back.

Now the 400k stream is working, but not the high quality. Better than nothing, I guess. Basically my summary on the entire MLB.tv experience -- it sucks, but it's better than nothing.

except for that one inning when it tightened up inexplicably.

if you look on gameday a few of Dice-K's strikeouts tonight have been out of the zone on the gameday window. He must have some great movement because this happens alot (hes on one of my fantasy teams so I get a good look at his stuff on gameday).

but like I said earlier I've been confused about the strike zone all game. I guess he likes calling the outside pitches for strike three on our guys, but other than that I can't follow.

I was (unfortunately?) at the Angels/Twins game yesterday cuz my family had tickets. My friend and I spent basically the whole time punching all-star ballots and keeping an eye on the A's score.

There is no way the Angels are as good as they were yesterday and I totally blame the Twins for leaving pitchers in too long for their complete meltdown (though I don't really know their bullpen situation, so I don't know if they were low on options anyway). We just had to laugh because it was so ridiculous. The Twins finally got some offense going in the 9th inning but they had no chance of winning after giving up 16 runs.

I can't see the Angels continuing this torrid streak for that long. I do think their pitching will keep them in the games, but as long as the A's keep winning, we should close the gap between us. My fingers are crossed, anyway.

Whew that was long.

Nice to see we're not the only team...

..capable of hitting into multiple double plays in freaky and unconventional ways while squandering run scoring opportunities in similarly freaky and unconventional ways.
