This has to be the most rewarding division title we've won yet in recent years.

I LOVE THIS TEAM

Weeeeeeeeeeee are the champions, my frieeeend

This year was pretty sweet. It feels better than, say, 2003, cuz it's been 3 years since we've been. Plus, I think this team, if the starting pitching comes back, has a real good chance in the playoffs; at full health we're as good as anyone out there. I've been a hardcore fan since I was six and they lost the World Series in 1988, and while I expected this before the season, it still feels very good. I can't wait til Tuesday!

And weeeeee

will be fighting to the end...

That's great.

It's been such a special year...with guys like Milton and Thomas finding new homes and being comfortable and happy.

No team is perfect. No clubhouse is perfect, but the A's sure make it seem like theirs is heaven.

as of tonight the A's have won fewer games than the Tigers, Yankees or Minnesota. If that is the same come Sunday the A's will not have homefield advantage.

(not that I care much at this point. in fact, it means that the A's ALDS games will be on the weekend, which is better for me...)

Ah, Labor Day weekend

with a bunch of friends and our S.O.'s in Tahoe, the streak hype was at its peak so even casual fans were glued. Cut the day short a little to get back to the cabin to watch. Tejada is up, such a confident look in his eye, he swung and connected, I jumped up immediately yelling he did it, ball sails over the fence in left center. Everyone asked me how I knew since I never jump up until the outfielders give up. I guess could just tell by the swing and the moment. Then I made everyone wait to leave the next day until he came through with the walk off single. Good times.

Am in the Raj Hotel in Sri Lanka, listening to the A's radio on MLB GameDay. I should be doing some engineering work, which is what brought me from Petaluma to Sri Lanka, but I can get to that later, time to celebrate now.

I have my tickets for Post Season, Row 1 Section 128, first row behind the A's Bull Pen bench, but my wife will have to find another A's fan to take them, as i will not be back in the Bay Area until Sunday Oct 8th. They just better get out of the first round this year, so I can see some Post Season Games.
